CBSE Board 12th & 10th – Result 2020 Updates

This time CBSE has given numbers based on the average marks of the last three papers of the board examination under the assessment scheme due to the corona virus epidemic. In other words, the marks of the remaining papers have been given on the basis of the average marks of those papers which have been done before. Students who have given three papers, their two best papers will be averaged out, while the students who have had only one or two exams, their internal assessment will also be counted by the board. It is mandatory to bring at least 33 percent to pass the exam.

According to the CBSE 10th results released in 2019, 91.1 percent students had passed the exam while in 2018 88.67 percent students had passed. Recently, the results of class 12 board exams were also released where 5 percent more students passed the examination this year than last year. It is hoped that a similar improvement can be seen in the results of class 10 this year.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the Class 12th result. CBSE Board Class 12th students will be able to check their result board official site.

On 25 June, the CBSE board had asked the Supreme Court to cancel the 10th and 12th pending examinations, and also said that it would prepare the result on the basis of internal assessment and release it till 15 July 2020. However, CBSE has not yet announced any specific date to declare the result. But based on the information given by the CBSE to the Supreme Court, it can be easily expected that the CBSE 10th and 12th results will be released soon in the same week.

Like the CISCE board, CBSE is also considering not releasing the merit list of students this time. According to a senior board official, CBSE has not yet decided on the issue of merit list of students for both the classes. Actually, this time due to the epidemic of Corona virus Kovid-19, a complete test could not be done, due to which the result of the students has been prepared by the method of evaluation. In such a situation, there is no sense of issuing merit list of students.
